K9 Connect offer a wide range of classes for dogs of all ages, temperaments and abilities. We believe that each persons training journey is unique. Our classes are designed to provide both specialist and base level training from Puppy Preschool to providing specific classes for common training problems such as Reliable Recalls and Loose Leash Walking.
Our classes are designed through structured programs. These are group classes where you attend with the same group of dogs & owners, usually on a weekly basis. We can track your progress easily if you attend structured programs.
Our indoor facility is specifically structured for training classes in mind. Classes are available Weekday afternoons, evenings and Saturday mornings
Foundation Skills; Level 1 - 2
At K9 Connect, we believe that foundation is the key to any partnership between you and your puppy. Regardless about whether this is your FIRST puppy or your 10th, learning how to create a desire to learn and engage in your training partner is ideal. Foundation skills are all about you learning to work TOGETHER with your dog.

Foundation classes are 4 weeks in length, held on a variety of days and times (weekday and weekend).
Next Level Training
Once your foundation skills are established, it is now time to up-skill your dog to the next level! When training the basics, it is often about helping you, the owner (handler) get it right. Now the FUN starts! Intermediate and Advanced skills are all about building on the basics and showing you what your dog can achieve. Our classes are specifically designed with positivity and fun. Engaging you with the 'pet' dog in mind. Alternatively, if a performance career is where you are headed, our trainers have the skills and ability to help you fine tune your training ready for competition
Social Skills
As much as basic training is important, we understand that there are times where basic obedience is just what you have figured out, but the social aspects of owning a dog leave you anxious, scratching your head or wondering how you can safely have your dog interact with others. From puppies to adults, we have a range of classes set to help you and your dog become a model citizen. From puppy interactions, to obnoxious adolescents, timid and tentative greetings and reactive dogs!
Performance Training
Whether you have started your training journey with performance in mind, or instead have 'caught the bug' of learning through the relationship with your dog. Our performance classes are suited for all from 4 months of age, particularly courses like Pre-Performance, Nosework or Beginners Rally.
Giving you a taste of what's next or what else you can join to keep your dog engaged and enjoying training!
Focused Workshops
Focused workshops are just that - a structured program centred around a common targeted issue or topic. These workshops are suited to all dogs over 4 months of age. They can be a nice interim course prior to starting our "Next Level" classes or in between. If you have an adult dog, they can be a nice refresher course.

If you are looking for something new and different, these courses also include our focus performance classes like Beginners Tricks, Pre Performance and Beginners Rally.
